Get Well Card

I just recently got the new Wildcard 2 cartridge and finally played with it last night.  So I decided to take on a color challenge and this is what I came up with. I cut this at 8 inches this is probably the biggest that you will be able to cut it at if you want the envelope to go with it. I chalked the ends of the waves to give it a little ump.I love how the envelope makes the shadow of the waves.lol

Cricut Craft Room Challenge

Ok for this challenge we could only use digital cartridges in the craft room.  So for this project I used MOVIE NIGHT this is one of my favorite digitals.  I took the clap bord and cut all the shapes out I then cut out the base and fliped so I would have a back on the card and also somewhere where I could but the tickets that I welded together.  On the bottom of the tickets I made it where you could attach a gift card( and of course the only gift card I had was a Micheals.  lol) to it and it still fits in the card.  On the clap board  I used enamel accents to pop the clap and I but pearls on the brace.  I then cut Happy Birthday from Martha stewart cartridge  All occasion.  I then put glossy accents on top of the happy birthday just to give it a pop.  Thanks!!!

Another challenge on the blog was to cut some cricut cuts out. so here is the list

Recipe Challenge for Cricut Circle blog

Project must have at least three cricut Images, Three patterned Pappers a butterfly, bird or bug,
Machine, pen or hand stitching,
The color yellow.

So lets begin, I used Wild Cards for the base of the card. I then flood filled it with Vintage Damask Brown  pattern.  I then went to my Vintage papers cartridge and made a base using the newspaper print.  I then cut a half circle and filled it with the brown from vintage papers, then I made one more half circle and flood filled it with the tickets.  I enlarged the pattern where winner pops really good off the page.  I assembled all of them on the page and then took my white gel pen and made it look like I sewed the edges I love these pens it really makes it look like it is sewed.  I then cut the bird from the Buccanneer cart  I three d the wings and the hat and beak.  Added a Eyeball and it looked lovely all the colors just flowed.  Finally I need a sentiment so I cut a tag out and chalked the edges of it with my brown and then stamped Happy Birthday on it and tied a yellow ribbon on the end.   Thanks for looking.

Drink Gift Card Holders

Well my neighbor asked me to make so teacher appreciation gifts for her and she wanted to use starbucks gift cards.  Then she started thinking not everyone drinks coffee.  So I suggested a Sonic gift card.  So I made all these nice cups from Fast food cartridges with a little help from ccr they turned out just like I had planned and she loved them.

Strawberry Basket

I finally got to use my Spring Cottage Cartridge and fell in love.  These little strawberries are filled with Hershey Kisses. The strawberry part I embossed with the cuttle bug so it would look more real. I then took the leaf and I took my brown cats eye and chalked it so it would look a little burnt from the sun. I then took bakers twine and sewed the strayberry up.  The basket is also from the same cart. I then took some cute ribbon and tied it up on top.  These basket would be cute for any occasion.
